Royal Canadian Mint Christmas Gift Sets

The Royal Canadian Mint introduced a Christmas themed holiday gift set in 2004, and has continued to produce these sets in each year.  The sets include a full collection of Canadian coins from the cent to the two dollar coin in near perfect “numismatic uncirculated” condition.  The highlight of each set is the unique Christmas themed coloured quarter which is not available in any other Royal Canadian Mint set.  Each set also includes the scarce and highly collectible 50 cent coin which is not issued for circulation. These coins have been extremely popular and older sets are rarely available in quantity.  Current catalogue values (Charlton, 2008) for just the coloured quarters 2005-2007 range from $15 to $90 per coin.
