Hand Autographed by Hockey Legends!


These are high quality full colour lithographs printed on canvas and hand autographed by these legendary players. The designs are from the original paintings created for official Canadian postage stamps issued to honour these great players. Certificates of authenticity are also numbered and hand signed by the Canada Post Director of Stamp Products verifying that the signatures were witnessed and are authentic. Editions are limited to between 300 and 1022 depending on the player, and certificates include the stamp issued using the same artwork.   

All lithographs are attractively displayed in high quality frames ranging in size from 15.25” x 15.25” to 20” x 20”. Although all players were originally issued at $89.95, prices reflect current market values and popularity of players. All signed framed lithographs come still sealed in the original shipping boxes from Canada Post.

Phil Esposito’s legacy includes an impressive list of achievements during
his NHL career – first player to reach 100 points in a season; five-time
winner of the Art Ross Trophy; 10 All-Star Game appearances; and the
unforgettable set-up for the series-winning goal against the Soviet Union
in the 1972 Series. Esposito’s size and strength served him well when it came
to on-ice-performance - he was a team-leading scorer for the Chicago Blackhawks,

In only his second season, Serge Savard became the first defenseman to win the Conn Smythe Trophy as playoff MVP when Montreal won the Stanley Cup in 1969. When Denis Potvin retired from the NHL in 1988, he was the all-time leading NHL defenseman in goals, assists and points. In his first NHL season, Marcel Dionne racked up 77 points with the Detroit Red Wings, setting a new assist record for rookies. He went on to play a dozen seasons with the Los Angeles Kings topping 100 points seven times and winning the Lester B. Pearson Award and Art Ross Trophy. Allan Stanley began his illustrious career in the NHL with the New York Rangers in 1948-49. The Rangers traded him in to the Chicago Blackhawks during the 1954-55 season. He later joined the Boston Bruins for two years. Stanley then spent a decade with the Toronto Maple Leads, where, teamed with Tim Horton, Carl Brewer and Marcel Pronovost, he enjoyed the best years of his career. He finished his career with the Philadelphia Flyers during the 1968-69 season and was inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame in 1981.

Selected in 1974 by the New York Islanders as their second draft pick, Trottier entered the NHL in 1975-76 and set a rookie scoring record with 95 points. Trottier became an essential member of the New York Islanders dynasty that won the Stanley Cup four years in a row. Trottier signed as a free agent with the Pittsburg Penguins in 1990-91, and helped his new team win back-to-back Stanley Cup titles. At the time of his retirement as a player in 1994, Trottier ranked sixth in NHL history with 1,425 points. He was inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame in 1997.

Brad Park was a rare breed of defenseman, combining a physical style with a flair for playmaking. Joining the New York Rangers in 1968, he was a First Team All-Star and Norris Trophy runner up by his sophomore season. Later he went on to lead the Boston Bruins to two Stanley Cup finals and was twice more named Norris Trophy runner-up. In 1988, Brad Park was inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame.

Eight-time All-Star Team member Mike Bossy was a key factor in four consecutive New York Islanders Stanley Cup championships. In 1977-78, he set a rookie record of 53 goals, earning him the Calder Trophy and beginning a record-breaking run of 50-goals plus in the next nine seasons. Stan Mikita entered the NHL during the 1958-59 season and helped lead the Chicago Blackhawks to their first Stanley Cup in 23 years. A gifted scorer, Mikita became the first player in league history to win the Hart Trophy, Art Ross Trophy and Lady Byng Trophy all in the same season – an accomplishment he repeated the very next year! Milt Schmidt joined the Boston Bruins in the 1936-37 season and formed
part of the “Kitchener Kids” line which was one of the most feared offensive
lines in the NHL and the first to finish 1-2-3 in scoring. Schmidt helped lead
the Bruins to Stanley Cup victory in 1939 and 1941. He enlisted with the RCAF
during WWII, but returned as a First Team All-Star in the 1946-47 season. 
Milt Schmidt’s immense talent led him to two Stanley Cups, the Hart Trophy
and his place in the Hockey Hall of Fame in 1961.

A perennial All-Star defenseman with the Chicago Blackhawks in the 1950s and 1960s, Pierre Pilote played 821 games, scored 77 goals and contributed 400 assists in 13 seasons. He was consistently ranked among the NHL’s highest-scoring defensemen. Pilote was traded to the Toronto Maple Leafs in 1968 and played just one season before retiring. At just 5’8”, Ted Lindsay was a fierce and feared competitor. The legendary
left-winger spent more time in the penalty box than any other player of his
era, yet he was a naturally gifted scorer who spent enough time on the ice to
win a scoring title.  Lindsay joined the Detroit Red Wings and become part
of the “Production Line” with Sid Abel and Gordie Howe.  In the 1949-50
season, the line place 1-2-3 in scoring with Lindsay leading the way and winning
the Art Ross Trophy.  When Lindsay retired, he held NHL records for most
goals and most assists by a left winger, and for most penalty minutes by any player.  Lindsay was inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame in 1966.

At 6 feet tall and 215 pounds, John Bucyk was the biggest left winger in hockey during his career. Bucyk played for the Bruins for 21 years and was one of the team’s key offensive performers. In the 1970-71 season, Bucyk became only the fifth player to score over 50 goals in a season. He was inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame in 1981.
